A reputable marketing agency in Greenville, SC is hiring an Accounting and Finance Manager . The ideal candidate has significant accounting and finance leadership experience with a professional services company.

This is a direct hire position based in Downtown Greenville with a full-time, hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Partner with the CFO to maintain accurate financial records, manage monthly close, and oversee cash flow, payroll, and reconciliations
• Payroll & Benefits Oversight: Review bi-monthly payroll, verify 401(k) deductions and contributions, and manage compliance documentation for benefits
• Invoicing & System Support: Serve as backup for invoicing, support Advantage system workflows, and ensure reporting consistency
• Insurance & Tax Compliance: Manage all insurance policies and relationships, and oversee annual and quarterly tax filings at the city and state level
• Technology & Facility Coordination: Liaise with IT support and coordinate compliance with local inspectors for safety and facility regulations
• Administrative Leadership: Lead internal financial/admin operations, reduce founder involvement, and align processes with agency goals
• Process Improvement & Documentation: Develop SOPs, build redundancy into financial tasks, and lead initiatives to streamline finance and operations

Qualifications :

• 7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or administrative leadership
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across finance and operations
• Solid understanding of payroll processing, benefit administration, and accounting workflows
• Comfortable with both high-level strategy and hands-on execution
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Experience managing agency financial metrics such as client profitability, staff utilization, or gross margin
