Auto Recovery Specialist
Location Carmel, IN | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $20/hour
• Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM EST (30-minute lunch)
• W2, 6-month assignment
ROLE IMPACT
This temporary role supports the daily operations of the Recovery Department, managing salvage claims, recovery vendor coordination, and legal issue referrals. The position plays a key part in facilitating post-claims recovery workflows, maximizing returns from salvage liquidation, and ensuring accurate documentation and file handling.
KEY DUTIES
• Evaluate settled claim files to assign recovery work across internal staff and vendors
• Manage salvage claims end-to-end, including title tracking, bid approvals, and sale proceeds reconciliation
• Distribute recovery assignments and incentive portfolios to vendors
• Handle partial skip claims and maintain accurate documentation of all recovery activity
• Facilitate legal referrals by completing Allied Legal Referral forms and tracking issue resolution
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of experience in claims recovery, auto finance, or insurance support
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, including vendor coordination and file tracking
• Strong organizational and communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience with title processing, auto remarketing, or salvage procedures
• Familiarity with legal documentation and referral processes in recovery operations
• Proficiency with internal case management or claims systems
