(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.   The client for this project is the NYS Office of General Services (OGS). Please provide references upon resume submission.  Responsibilities Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project specifications Inspect all material upon arrival to the jobsite to ensure compliance Document inspections and report any issues Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and vendors to complete each project on time Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project Communicate with the project team and support each subcontractor to execute his job duties effectively and efficiently Perform inspections or schedule inspectors to meet the varying safety and compliance regulations of each job location Maintain a written daily log of visitors, job actions performed, materials expended, and problems resolved on the job site Travel between multiple job sites and simultaneously manage work loads of individual projects Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organizing meetings and cooperating with team members in various roles as necessary Job Duties: Dannemora and Ray Brook Field Offices: • 46009 Clinton CF repair steam tunnel Bids $1M 5/23 • 47082 Adirondack CF rehab water filter plant $4M award 5/24 • 46020 Adirondack CF roof replacement $4M award 5/23 • 46923 Clinton CF rehab auditorium $6M award 3/24 Qualifications OSHA 30 Willingness to work inside minimum and maximum security prisons Minimum three (3) years of trade experience or comparable training in inspection of large-scale building project valued above $1 million Willingness to respond to calls off normal hours and occasionally work extra hours to meet project needs Must be able to work autonomously, follow procedures, and interpret contract documents Ability to understand and interpret contract documents including specifications and drawings Experienced in new building construction, major renovations, civil work and the installation and commissioning of Electrical Strong communications written and oral skills and a collaborative approach working with both client and construction contractor/subcontractors Ability to maintain field and office records and perform quantity computations Knowledgeable and experienced with the Uniform Building Code.
