Job Description:

We’re seeking an experienced higher education leader to serve as the Assistant Vice President of Institutional Research & Effectiveness. This key position reports directly to the President and is responsible for directing the college’s accreditation efforts, data reporting, strategic planning, grants, and institutional effectiveness initiatives.

This is a high-impact, highly visible role for a forward-thinking leader who thrives on collaboration, compliance, and data-informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Institutional Research & Effectiveness department, including budgeting, personnel, and operations
  • Serve as SACSCOC liaison and maintain institutional accreditation
  • Coordinate strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives across departments
  • Manage IPEDS reporting and the Carl D. Perkins federal grant budget
  • Conduct data analysis on enrollment, workforce alignment, and institutional performance
  • Oversee grant development and implementation
  • Coordinate surveys, program reviews, and institutional policies and procedures

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years of relevant experience
  • Experience with SACSCOC or other higher education accreditation
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects and provide strategic direction
  • Master’s degree and supervisory experience preferred
