  • Contract Duration: 3-6 months with potential to extend
  • Worksite Location: Winsted, MN
  • Compensation: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

What you’ll do as the Compensation & Benefits Analyst:

  • Ensure that the salary administration structure and all compensation programs align with the needs of the business while remaining market competitive
  • Lead compensation processes including an annual merit review and short-term incentive bonus program
  • Conduct job analysis to determine appropriate salary level according to compensation guidelines and policies for all new and existing roles
  • Administer benefit programs including self and fully insured programs, executive, COBRA, health savings accounts, flexible spending, etc.
  • Maintain records and documents necessary for implementing and updating coverage, including annual and new employee enrollments and invoice payments
  • Leverage benefits as a part of our total rewards strategy for new hires and for open enrollment
  • Process and administers all leave-of-absence requests
  • Partner internally and externally to manage disability/leaves
  • Manage inter-reliant processes and benefits to ensure administrative compliance on FMLA, and short-term and long-term disability programs
  • Ensure applicable written and verbal communications are provided to employees and managers throughout the short term leave as well as during transitions to and from leaves

What you’ll bring to the Compensation & Benefits Analyst role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field and a minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in benefit and compensation plan administration and design preferred
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or CEBs is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, health savings accounts, and workers' compensation
  • Strong knowledge of compensation plans and applicable laws including FLSA, HIPAA, and IRS regulations
  • Capability to effectively plan and set priorities; ability to manage several projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Openly expresses ideas and viewpoints; recommends improvements proactively
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
