Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Location: Richmond, VA

Job Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Superintendent with a strong background in general contracting and a proven track record in managing mission-critical projects, preferably data centers. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience and the ability to manage large crew sizes across various trades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and tradespeople.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment by adhering to safety standards and protocols.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role within the general contracting industry.
• Proven experience in managing mission-critical projects, with a preference for data center experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing large crews across various trades.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
