USI is seeking a Corporate Surplus Lines Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in the insurance industry. No prior insurance experience is required — we’ll support you in obtaining your license within 60 days of hire.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate agent/agency compliance with state surplus lines rules
• Submit required documents to states for timely filings
• Coordinate payment of taxes and related fees
• Assist with auditing and ensuring prompt payment of collected taxes
• Support the development and maintenance of surplus lines procedures
• Interpret and apply state surplus lines administrative codes
• Provide surplus lines assistance to internal teams

🔹 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in accounting or business)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks proactively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Bonus: Experience with Sagitta (Vertafore) or data analysis
