Cybersecurity Architect – Network & Firewall Security

Firewall capabilities are critical in this role.

Hybrid 3 days in office / Onsite MUST for below locations:-

Jonesboro, AR

Rogers, AR

Little Rock, AR

Millington, TN

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecom, service provider, or enterprise-scale environments, with hands-on experience in penetration testing and firewall implementation. This role involves defining and standardizing security strategies to protect our network infrastructure and working closely with the Operations team to develop and test effective detection and response procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain security architecture across organizational networks.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Configure, manage, and maintain firewalls and other security tools.
• Create and refine incident response strategies and documentation.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to ensure secure design and implementation.
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging threats, and new technologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in the telecom, service provider, or large enterprise environments.
• Education: BA or BS in Information Security, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications: Must hold at least one of the following (or equivalent):
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
• Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Must-Have Skills:

• Telecom or service provider industry experience
• At least one of the listed cybersecurity certifications
• Strong penetration testing expertise
• Firewall configuration and management
• Incident detection and response planning
