Core Responsibilities

• Completes rotation objectives across any one of Vanguards primary and complex business while driving value-add initiatives focused on decision making in key business areas.
• Delivers high quality results for all projects and assignments during the course of each rotation; applies the overall department goals to accomplish specific project assignments.
• Engages with internal partners to understand business strategy questions and goals. Brings structure to business requests translates requirements into an analytical project approach and supports projects through completion.
• A cquires and compiles structured and unstructured data and verifies its quality accuracy and reasonableness.
• Takes ownership of personal and professional development through: participation in program-initiated meetings and projects attending all training sessions required by the program or rotational assignments and creating and maintaining a personal plan to track development and accomplishments throughout the year.
• Develops a strong understanding of Vanguards data methodology including approaches to structured and unstructured data AWS Stack cloud architecture Tableau and other reporting tools and all relevant systems.
• Navigates assigned division and ancillary data departments by building a comprehensive network of contacts that can be leveraged to complete assigned tasks.
• Demonstrates accountability for issues by accepting ownership throughout the problem resolution process.
• Develops a broad understanding of the Vanguard Divisions strategies and initiatives and a deep understanding of CDAO.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required. Preferred majors include but not limited to Business Analytics Data & Analytics Statistics Math Computer Science or STEM majors.
• Experience in financial services or data analytics internships preferred but not required.
