Job Summary
Pledge 1% Builders are a collaborative network of social impact and ESG leaders and practitioners from 50+ companies leading the Pledge 1% corporate impact movement. Reporting to the VP of Social Impact & Builders, the Director of Programming will serve as a key deputy, leading the day-to-day execution and integration of Pledge 1%’s Builder programming and partnering in shaping the broader programming strategy across the organization.
You will oversee a high-value experience for our Builder community—driving content, events, and engagement that deepen relationships, surface thought leadership, and elevate visibility. As a core member of the team, you’ll bring deep social impact expertise and serve as a strategic advisor to Builder companies and partners.
This role leads the planning and execution of Pledge 1%’s programming portfolio, including in-person convenings, virtual events, Builder communications, the AI Resource Hub, and emerging Pledge 1% AI initiatives. You’ll collaborate across teams to align programming with retention, fundraising, and brand goals, delivering timely, relevant content that reflects evolving corporate impact priorities.
Partnering closely with the VP and Director of Builder Partnerships, you’ll ensure that programming remains responsive to Builder company needs while advancing our unique role as a convener for collective impact.

What does a successful candidate look like?
You have a strong knowledge of the corporate social impact landscape and are a corporate impact leader with experience spanning program development, grantmaking, employee engagement, DEI, ESG, and partnership strategy. Tech sector experience is a plus. As a senior member of the team, you’ll serve as a strategic partner across the organization and may support key initiatives across Member Impact, Equity, Marketing, and Fundraising.
The ideal candidate can think strategically, integrate across teams, and execute quickly to make things happen. You know how to operationalize by putting the right systems, metrics, and feedback loops in place to remove friction, empower teams, and facilitate growth.

Status: Exempt
Salary & Benefits: $140,000 - $160,000, subject to experience and location. Stellar benefits, wellness package, and work-from-home stipend.
