As Director, Strategic Initiatives reporting to VP, this role is responsible for business development efforts around WME’s clients while also directing new processes & strategies for the organization focused on improving operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Supports VP of Strategic Initiatives by leading various projects across business development, operations, and strategy priorities.
  • Project manages at a high-level with many stakeholders. Helps to design and document client strategy process, systems and templates.
  • Engages and organizes subject matter experts and cross-functional groups for input and suggestions. Leads ideation, curation, workflow, and execution, alongside follow-up and sometimes scheduling.
  • Establishes processes and tools used to more effectively project manage, identify key performance indicators (KPI), and produce a data-driven analysis of critical functions.
  • Provides documentation, tools, and training to support the adoption of new business processes/ strategy across agency for younger / newer agents.
  • Develops initiatives that study best practices and industry trends. Drives the in-depth analysis of existing workflows, identifying areas needing improvement, and implementing changes.
  • Trusted to fully own projects and to effectively communicate, across all levels ensuring VP remains informed and included for escalations.
  • Executes with professionalism and a close adherence to confidentiality and teamwork.
  • Demonstrates high emotional intelligence, decision making, and the ability to present with Executive Presence.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Requires 5+ years of experience

  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.

  • Detail and process orientated
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; in particular Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint
  • Proficiency in Keynote
