This is a fully remote position, but regular travel within Northern California is required for court appearances and in-person meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of California family law, court procedures, and local rules
  • Provide exceptional client service, balancing empathy with strategic advocacy

Requirements:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in California
  • Minimum 3 years of substantive family law experience in California
  • Proven ability to independently manage and litigate family law cases
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel across Northern California as needed
  • Comfort with remote work technologies and case management systems
  • High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with high-conflict custody, complex property division, and/or domestic violence matters
  • Comfortable using legal tech platforms for case management and client communication
