Finance Assistant - Accounts Payable Focus

Location : Remote Type : Full-time

Compensation : This position offers a salary range of $53,000 to $58,000 annually, which equates to approximately $27.18 to $29.74 per hour based on a 37.5-hour work week. This range reflects our good faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.

Status : Non-exempt, eligible for overtime

Benefits : PTO accrual, medical, eye and dental insurance, as well as commuter, FSA and 401k benefits.

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to grow your career in finance? Join our team as a Finance Assistant with a focus on Accounts Payable! We're seeking an entry to mid-level professional who has some experience in accounts payable and is eager to learn more.

What You'll Do

• Process vendor invoices and expense vouchers
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate transactions
• Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

• 1-2 years of accounts payable or related finance experience
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro)
• Experience with Clio, QuickBooks, and Ramp is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfort with leveraging generative AI tools to streamline workload, enhance work product, and improve outcomes.
