Position: Investment Analyst-Renewables

Overview:
A rapidly expanding firm operating in the alternative energy and infrastructure space is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Investment Analyst. The organization is comprised of professionals with backgrounds in investment banking and alternative asset management, and is backed by long-term institutional capital. The team focuses on strategic investments and asset acquisitions across a range of energy transition and real asset categories.

K ey Responsibilities:
Support the development of financial and valuation models for potential investments
Contribute to internal reports, strategy documents, and investment memoranda
Conduct research on market dynamics, asset classes, and macroeconomic trends
Analyze and interpret data sets to identify opportunities and risks
Aggregate and organize data to assist with ongoing investment strategy
Help implement tools and systems for data management and analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support investment decisions and strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, valuations, FP&A, investment banking, or related roles in the energy or infrastructure sectors
Solid understanding of financial modeling and corporate finance principles
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
Effective communicator with the ability to present complex information clearly
Self-starter comfortable working in a technology-driven, collaborative, and lean environment
