Position Overview:

S5 Analytics is seeking a skilled IT Network Engineer to design, implement, monitor, and manage our organization's local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN) to ensure maximum uptime and reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in network systems, with the ability to configure new infrastructure, document processes, and maintain ongoing operations and upgrades.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of professional experience in network engineering or IT systems support
• Proficiency in routing and switching technologies, firewalls, and network monitoring tools
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, and other core networking protocols
• Experience with configuring and maintaining Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment
• Familiarity with documentation tools and change management processes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+
• Experience in cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python scripting for networking)
