Medical Records Coordinator – Personal Injury Law Firm

📍 Onsite | Office is in Woodland Hills (San Fernando Valley), CA. Will work 100% in office so must be within commuting distance of Woodland Hills.

💵 $25–$27 per hour (DOE)

Our growing personal injury law firm in Woodland Hills is seeking a Medical Records Coordinator to join our team onsite. This position plays a key role in supporting our attorneys by handling the medical side of client cases. If you're detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in working with medical records or in a legal/medical office setting, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Request, track, and follow up on medical records and bills from providers
• Organize and maintain accurate records of client treatment
• Create and update medical chronologies and summaries
• Communicate with medical offices, clients, and attorneys regarding treatment and records
• Ensure all medical documentation supports case development, demand letters, and settlements

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a personal injury law firm, medical office, or legal setting is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and follow-up skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with case management software a plus
