LaSalle Network is partnering with a growing distribution and manufacturing company to hire a Distribution Plant Manager for its facility in Gary, Indiana . This is a high-impact, on-site leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. What’s the job?
Lead daily operations for the distribution plant, managing staff, logistics and production flow
Oversee plant safety, compliance, and quality control standards
Drive KPIs around inventory accuracy, order fulfillment and on-time delivery
Manage staffing, scheduling, and workforce development for operational excellence
Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure seamless coordination across departments
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, using data to identify and solve inefficiencies
What’s needed?
5+ years of experience managing distribution or manufacturing plant operations
Strong leadership skills with experience managing large teams
Proven track record of hitting performance metrics and improving throughput
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or other process improvement frameworks
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work full-time onsite in Gary, Indiana
