Production Manager

Location : Reading, PA

Employment Type : Full-Time | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (must be open to occasional overnight coverage)

Compensation: Starting at $110,000+ based on experience

We’re hiring a people-focused Production Manager to lead a growing department within a fast-paced rPET manufacturing environment. This is a newly created role due to growth and increased demand—offering the opportunity to shape team culture and drive performance from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of approximately 60 employees, including an engineer and a specialist
• Ensure production, quality, and safety goals are consistently met
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
• Collaborate cross-functionally with quality, maintenance, and logistics
• Support hiring, training, and performance development initiatives
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering or Technical field)
• 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing; plastics or recycling preferred
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP a plus
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred, or prior experience working in Spanish-speaking environments
