Recruiter

Base Salary + Commission

Permanent Opportunity

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Grandview, Ohio (onsite)

The main responsibility and function of the recruiter role is to acquire and manage a candidate database. As a recruiter, you will serve as the candidate’s representative, working on their behalf, concerning the needs of our client, to make high-quality placements both in contract and temp to hire opportunities.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Candidate Acquisition: Use various tools to attract talent in warehouse and manufacturing or customer service roles, build relationships with colleges and organizations, and recruit through cold calling, job fairs, and referrals
  • Candidate Screening and Vetting: Review resumes, conduct prescreening, and perform detailed reference checks. Interview candidates to assess qualifications, salary expectations, and availability, and conduct background checks as needed
  • Candidate Placement: Present vetted candidates to Account Managers, serve as a liaison between candidates and clients, and provide interview preparation
  • Candidate Management: Maintain communication with all candidates, assist with payroll issues, and manage candidate feedback and termination notices. Keep an accurate candidate database
  • Communication and Documentation: Collaborate with service and sales teams, document recruitment activities, and stay updated on recruiting trends. Track and report weekly productivity to management

Who we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 1-2 years in a customer or client delivery role, demonstrating strong relationship-building, and ability to manage expectations
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Attention to detail, high sense of urgency, someone who can form relationships internally and with clients
  • Customer/client service aptitude
  • Administrative and organizational abilities
  • Multitasking and time management methods
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and dependability
  • Some local travel as needed to conduct client and candidate meetings will be required
  • Ability to be online in the evenings and on weekends as needed
