We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Manager to join our growing team and lead our expansion efforts in San Diego and surrounding regions.

Position Overview:

The Regional Manager will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales, distribution, and brand visibility within the assigned region. This individual will play a key role in building relationships with distributors, retailers, bars, and restaurants, ensuring the successful execution of regional marketing initiatives, and achieving revenue and growth targets. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in the beverage industry, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the spirits market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Distribution Management:
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to increase brand presence and sales within San Diego and surrounding markets.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and on-premise accounts (bars, restaurants, etc.).
  • Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and adjust strategies to achieve regional goals.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure proper inventory management and distribution coverage.
  • Market Expansion & Brand Growth:
  • Identify new business opportunities, including new accounts, regions, and untapped market segments.
  • Lead the execution of Wildfire's marketing initiatives and promotions to increase brand awareness and consumer engagement.
  • Work closely with the national marketing team to ensure alignment between regional strategies and national branding efforts.
  • Organize and participate in trade shows, events, and tastings to showcase Wildfire products and engage with potential customers.

  • Market Intelligence & Reporting:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and local market dynamics.
  • Analyze sales data and generate reports to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on regional performance, challenges, and progress toward goals.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key account holders and decision-makers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by responding promptly to inquiries, addressing issues, and providing exceptional service.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or regional management within the beverage, alcohol, or FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record in driving sales growth, managing distributor relationships, and executing regional marketing campaigns.
  • Experience managing and leading a sales team, with a strong focus on team development and performance management.
  • Knowledge of the spirits industry and trends in the Florida market is highly preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and generate actionable insights.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Other Requirements:
  • Ability to travel within the region (some overnight travel may be required).
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Passion for the spirits industry and knowledge of Wildfire’s product portfolio is a plus.
