Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Risk & Program Controls Specialist to join our clients team. This role is integral in managing and analyzing construction project risks and claims while driving effective schedule and cost controls across complex construction programs. You will serve as a key advisor supporting litigation, surety claims, and defect analysis, while collaborating closely with project teams and owners to ensure smooth program execution and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and analyze surety, delay, and construction defect claims.
• Provide expert support for litigation, including detailed claims analysis and documentation.
• Lead scheduling, cost control, and project estimating efforts to optimize performance and identify risks.
• Oversee catastrophic response and property loss evaluation in construction projects.
• Act as owner’s representative to safeguard interests and manage construction loan monitoring/disbursements.
• Facilitate program management and provide comprehensive project controls throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support professional liability claims and contribute to risk avoidance strategies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in claims management, project controls, and construction risk analysis.
• Strong understanding of delay claims, surety processes, and construction defect evaluation.
• Expertise in litigation support, cost/schedule control, and program oversight.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborative stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and urgent responses with composure and precision.
