Job Description

About the Company

We are partnering with a high-growth, privately held real estate investment firm specializing in multifamily acquisitions, turnarounds, and long-term asset optimization. With over 3,000 units under management and more on the horizon, this firm is scaling fast across key Sunbelt markets and building a best-in-class investment team to match.

This is a culture-first environment led by a hands-on, entrepreneurial leadership team that values ownership, execution, and long-term thinking.

About the Role

We’re searching for a Senior Investment Management Analyst —an experienced and proactive finance professional ready to take on a leadership role within the investment team. This role goes beyond spreadsheets. You’ll be guiding junior analysts, overseeing transaction pipelines, and providing direct strategic support to senior leadership.

This is not a siloed position —you’ll be collaborating with operations, asset management, and executive leadership to shape strategy and drive real-time decisions. The position is highly visible and built for someone who thrives in an agile environment without rigid processes.

Role Breakdown

25% – Analyst Oversight & Quality Control

  • Review financial models and underwriting completed by analysts
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across deal packages
  • Mentor junior staff and help create scalable internal workflows

25% – Transaction Oversight

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on deal execution
  • Track pipeline progress, documentation, and key transaction deadlines
  • Provide strategic guidance and due diligence review

30% – Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Develop and manage property-level and portfolio-wide budgets
  • Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and performance reviews
  • Present findings and strategic insights to leadership

20% – Cross-Functional Operations

  • Liaise with operations, asset management, and construction teams
  • Identify and implement financial strategies to optimize performance
  • Support process creation in a fast-growing and lightly structured environment

What You Bring

  • 5–8 years of experience in real estate investment management, FP&A, consulting, or transaction advisory
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills are a must
  • Prior experience mentoring or managing analysts strongly preferred
  • Able to thrive in ambiguity—you're a problem-solver, not a people-pleaser
  • Strong communication skills; comfortable presenting to executives
  • Confident, grounded, and driven to make a long-term impact
  • Background in multifamily or real estate private equity a plus

Why This Role?

  • High Impact – Direct visibility with senior executives, including the CEO
  • Autonomy – Shape the way things are done and help build foundational processes
  • Growth Trajectory – Structured internal mobility path to Manager and Director roles
  • Dynamic Culture – Agile, collaborative, ambitious—led by a forward-thinking team
  • Stability & Scale – Backed by significant assets, with a strong acquisition pipeline
