Job Description
Title: Sensory Lab Technician
Location: Durham, NC
Duration: 12 Months with high possibility of extension
Job Summary:
Support sensory panel staff in the preparation and maintenance of products for testing in sensory panels.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain detailed inventory logs of products, devices, consumables, and lab equipment. Replenish as needed.
- Record, label, and store incoming products and devices.
- Prepare samples according to SOPs.
- Label products and materials for training and study sessions, following protocols.
- Sanitize and prepare samples
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lab space.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments.
Required Skills
Education:
- high school diploma required, some college or college degree preferred
- preferred 1 year of work experience (experience in a lab, kitchen, or other relevant field)
- Detail-oriented and has experience with the importance of good documentation practices

Additional Information
- Ability to facilitate sensory panels up to 3-4 days a week with flexible working hours
- Schedule estimated to be 10:00-5:00 or 12:00 pm-7:00 pm
- Hours per week: 28-35
- 100% on-site in Durham, NC
- Must have reliable transportation (bus route nearby)
