Job Description

Sagapixel is seeking a driven, creative, and results-oriented Social Media Manager to lead our video content initiatives across platforms. You will be responsible for producing, planning, and publishing both short-form and long-form video content that strengthens our brand—and, in some cases, our clients’ brands. This is a hands-on, highly strategic role for someone who knows what works in the business creator space, from YouTube to TikTok and LinkedIn.

Compensation - $65k-$75k, health, vision, dental, life (company covers 50% of premiums)

Key Responsibilities

Video Content Strategy & Production

  • Develop and execute a content calendar for Sagapixel’s social platforms, focusing heavily on video-first content.
  • Plan, script, shoot, and edit short-form video (vertical and square formats) for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
  • Coordinate and direct the production of long-form video content, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and goals.
  • Oversee footage capture, including on-location shoots, in-office, and virtual sessions.

Editing & Publishing

  • Independently edit short-form video footage for maximum engagement, clarity, and platform-native style.
  • Collaborate with dedicated video editors on long-form video projects, providing creative direction, feedback, and ensuring content meets high-quality standards.

Trend Analysis & Strategy

  • Stay on top of the latest business content trends, creator strategies, and platform algorithm changes.
  • Proactively test and implement new video formats, hooks, and creative techniques designed to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Benchmark against top business creators; bring new ideas to the team, backed by data and real-world examples.

Community Engagement & Growth

  • Monitor analytics, engagement, and growth metrics for all video content.
  • Actively engage with Sagapixel’s online community, responding to comments and messages to foster connection and conversation.

Client Collaboration

  • When needed, plan and produce video content for select clients, applying the same standards for quality, engagement, and strategic fit.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience : Demonstrated experience (2+ years) creating and managing video-first content for brands, ideally in the B2B/business creator space.
  • Platform Expertise : Deep familiarity with YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn, including the content formats and strategies that drive results on each.
  • Video Skills : Proficient with video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar) for short-form content; basic filming skills, including lighting, audio, and on-camera presentation.
  • Strategic Mindset : Passion for business and marketing content, and a drive to experiment and improve with every post.
  • Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable giving and receiving creative feedback.
  • Organization : Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and shifting priorities.
