Job Description

Salary: $170,000 - 210,000 per year Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience working with large-scale Windows or Linux environments
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS or other cloud technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
  • Experience in data center or mission-critical environments
  • Project management experience related to complex technical initiatives
  • Strong documentation and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
  • Deploy, manage, and support extensive Windows and Linux environments, including virtualization platforms and networking elements
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, or Bash, emphasizing scalable deployment processes and infrastructure management
  • Collaborate with AWS or similar cloud platforms to support hybrid infrastructure settings
  • Design and implement secure, scalable solutions while considering system interdependencies and constraints
  • Analyze intricate technical issues, employing root cause analysis to formulate effective solutions
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, develop training resources, and facilitate team knowledge sharing
  • Work collaboratively with global teams, providing technical advice and supporting cross-functional initiatives
  • Identify security vulnerabilities, create mitigation plans, and participate in compliance activities
  • Be available for 24/7 on-call rotation and may involve up to 20% travel
