Tool & Die Maker

We are currently seeking Tool & Die Makers with experience in a metal stamping environment for a customer in Uniontown/Green.

In this position you will create and build precision dies and tools used in both single-hit and progressive stamping presses in a state-of-the-art Tool and Die Manufacturing Company.

Hours:

• Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm + overtime as needed

Pay:

• $55,000-$63,000+/year, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, CAD/CAM models, or technical specifications to design progressive, transfer, or single-hit stamping dies.
• Utilize advanced machining skills, technical expertise, and problem-solving to ensure dies meet exact specifications for efficient and high-quality production.
• Fabricate dies using precision machining tools to craft die components with tolerances often within thousandths of an inch
• Assemble and set up dies in stamping presses, ensuring proper alignment and functionality for high-speed production runs
• Conduct tryout runs on stamping presses and analyze results to refine designs and ensure parts meet tolerances and quality standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be familiar with working on all types of metal stamping tooling
• Must be able to do die try-out & development.
• Must have good math and blueprint reading skills
• Must be able to do set-ups to produce various tooling components.
• Must be able to operate all basic manual tool room equipment
• Tooling design and CAD/CAM experience is a plus
• Experience with CNC machining a plus (will train on CNC)
