Position Overview:

We're seeking passionate Counselors, Counseling Interns, or Prelicensed Counselors to join our team at our Thomes office location. This role offers valuable clinical experience under the supervision of licensed professionals, with clear pathways for long-term growth within our expanding practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to professional development and working primarily with children and adolescents.

Schedule Requirements:

• Evening hours Monday through Thursday (primarily after school hours)
• Additional hours may be available based on the candidate's availability

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling services to children and adolescents under appropriate supervision
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in regular individual and group supervision
• Engage in ongoing training opportunities to enhance clinical skills
• Collaborate with our team on client care
• Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality requirements

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Counseling (or currently enrolled in an accredited program)
• For prelicensed candidates: Working toward licensure as an LPC
• Knowledge of evidence-based counseling approaches for children and adolescents
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathetic presence
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Commitment to serving diverse populations
• Willingness to work primarily evening hours with youth clients

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with children and adolescents
• Familiarity with multiple therapeutic modalities for youth
• Background in trauma-informed care
• Interest in ongoing professional development
