Job Title: Facilities and EHS Manager

Location: Riverside, CA 92503

Job Type: Direct Hire

Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Bonus: Up to 20% (prorated first year)

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced and driven Facilities and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team in Riverside, CA. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role supporting our manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing with a dotted line to the Plant Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of facility maintenance and EHS compliance, ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead facility maintenance operations to ensure equipment uptime and efficient plant operations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct safety audits, lead incident investigations, and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Oversee environmental, health, and safety risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage contractors, service providers, and vendor relationships; solicit and negotiate project bids.
  • Supervise and coach maintenance and EHS staff; lead performance reviews and training programs.
  • Maintain EHS records, documentation, and reporting systems.
  • Partner with HR on employee relations and development as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Education & Experience: Associate degree or equivalent; 5–10 years of related experience in facility maintenance and/or EHS in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, industrial equipment, machine shop practices, and electrical systems is highly preferred.
  • Leadership: Proven experience managing teams, vendors, and multiple priorities across facilities and safety functions.
  • Communication: Clear and professional communicator—capable of delivering effective training, coaching, and internal reporting.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
