The Testing Specialist will be responsible for performing various types of software testing, including User Acceptance, Manual, Integration, and Automation Testing. The role involves creating test cases, executing tests, documenting results, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders to ensure the quality of complex health exchange systems. The specialist will also utilize performance testing techniques and tools to simulate load and monitor system performance.

Responsibilities:
- Perform software validation and testing.
- Write test cases and map requirements to test scenarios.
- Validate functionality and perform regression, integration, and interface testing.
- Prepare test documentation and design test data.
- Review test results and evaluate conformance with design.
- Translate requirements into effective test cases for UAT.
- Develop and identify test data for test scenarios.
- Execute test cases and document the results.
- Document defects and work with developers to resolve them.
- Create test plans and calendars to coordinate testing tasks.
- Utilize performance testing techniques and tools such as JMeter or similar.
- Perform API services testing using tools such as ReadyAPI or similar.
- Work with stakeholders to resolve issues and validate requirements.
- Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of complex public-facing systems.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in testing web applications.
- Experience using defect-tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong testing and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proven experience working effectively and collaboratively with stakeholders from multiple functional teams.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Java/Web application tester.
- Minimum 4 years of experience testing websites across multiple browsers, web services, back-end processing, and data validation.
- Experience in mobile testing, system testing, data migration testing, data integrity testing, and data transformation-related testing.
- Experience with backend database testing on SQL, PostgreSQL, or any other enterprise database systems.
- Experience in performing testing and validation of complex State-Based Health Insurance Marketplace or other healthcare systems.
- Experience with industry-standard Quality Assurance best practices for Agile and Iterative SDLCs.

- Must be flexible to work overtime, on-site/off-site, as needed, including weekends, holidays, and off-hours.
